                OUR MEMORABLE WINNERS
             
              **   AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION   **
                      PUREHEEL ROYAL BLUE
Sire-Truheel Blue Brent X Dam-Tallawong Blue Jinnia
"Captain" was our first Australian Champion, and won our first class in group and in show award, gaining best baby in show at the Kyneton championship show in 1983, under Australian Cattle Dog specialist, Mrs Pat Connor. Captain was a major foundation dog for our kennels and his head type can still be seen in our dogs today, for example-

Sire-Ch Pureheel Royal Blue X Dam-Ch Pureheel Royal Rapsody
"Abba" a daughter of Ch Pureheel Royal Blue was our first big winning bitch gaining many in group and in show awards and was our first BEST EXHIBIT IN GROUP winner. Abba gained over 500 challenge points at a time when the competition was fierce, a lot of her challenges were around 19+ points

"Raz" was our only red champion and won many in group awards, he was a dream dog to show and was often taken in child handles by our girls and they would usually win with him.

Sire-Ch Pureheel Amber Rival X Dam-Tallawong Blue Jenola
"Tyson" was our next memorable dog. He was the first of our dogs to win his class at Melbourne Royal Show In 1994 he was awarded BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at The Australian Cattle Dog Club of Victoria championship show, with a record entry of 92 dogs. This was a great day for us, especialy as another dog bred by us Ch Pureheel Royal Vengence received Reserve Dog Challenge

Sire-Ch Pureheel Royal Tyson X Dam-Arohanui Blue Galaxy
A daughter of Ch Pureheel Royal Tyson "Jinda" was the next stand out dog for us and she is a bitch who will be hard for us to top. She is our first Grand Champion and gained her points on bitch challenge points alone as the best of breed points were not counted then. Jinda did beat the dogs for best of breed on many occasions. Some of Jinda's best wins are Puppy in Show at the Working Dog Club Champ show 1994, bitch CC and runner up BOB at Melbourne Royal 1996, bitch CC and Runner up in Show ACDCV 1997, reserve bitch CC and runner up in show ACDCV 1998, reserve bitch CC ACDCV 1999, Best of Breed Canberra Royal 2000, Bitch CC ACDCV 2001, Reserve bitch CC Melbourne Royal 2002. Jinda was also the winner of the "Clive Blackney Memorial Trophy" top bitch award in 1998,1999,2000 & 2002 and at the age of 7 gained her herding instinct title with the highest score in instinct test. Jinda ruled the other dogs with an iron paw right up till the day she died at 13. Photo taken at 12 years.

                    PUREHEEL ROYAL ASSASSIN
Sire-Pureheel Royal Guard X Dam-Ch Pureheel Royal Mystery
"Zac" is our only male Grand Champion and as a sire has produced us multiple champions. A special win for us was when he won BEST OF BREED at Melbourne Royal Show in 1999. Zac also won reserve dog CC at Canberra Royal Show and reserve dog CC at The Australian Cattle Dog Club of Victoria champ show the same year. Zac also had Best Exhibit in group and in show awards at all breeds shows and was the winner of the "Clive Blackney Memorial Trophy" for top dog in 1998, 1999, 2001 & 2002. After Zac retired for us he went to New Zealand where he gained his title and sired Champions for his new owner.

Sire-Ch Lanbart Storm Chaser X Ch Pureheel Royal Treasure
"Axle" had multiple class in group and in show awards, he also won "Puppy of Breed" at the Melbourne Royal Show 2004. He was our first dog to win a Best in Show award all breeds, winning "BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW" at Kyabram championship show 2005. He also won "BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW" at The Australian Cattle Dog club of Victoria Open Show 2005 and "RESERVE DOG CHALLENGE" ( to his kennel mate Ch Pureheel Royal Warning) and INTERMEDIATE IN SHOW at The Australin Cattle Dog Club of Victoria championship show 15th October 2006. He was also the "Clive Blackney pointscore" winner 2006 & 2007
Axle now lives with Tracy Hessenberger & Steve Oakey in NSW, and will hopefully continue to do big things for them

"Fonzie" has only been lightly shown, but in the few shows he has had, he has manage to win "Best Exhibit In Show" at the Australian Cattle Dog club of Victoria special championship show 2006, at the age of 14 months, with a entry of 54 Cattle Dogs, judge Mrs A Hutchison from Scotland. Then 2 months later won "Best Exhibit in Group" at Murray Valley KC championship show 2006, judge Mrs Cornelssen from Canada.
Fonzie is a neat, compact dog with good bone and great feet, he has a lovely mottle colour, full dentition and a great temperament, he is 19" high. Fonzie now resides with the Robert's family at Yellingbo, Victoria and is in his element with 3 girlfriends and plenty of human companions

Diva is a big bitch with very good angulation and excellent movement. PRA tested "B" and is 19 inches high. At 3.5 years of age "Diva" had over 500 challenge points and was the winner of the "Clive Blackney Memorial Trophy" top bitch award 2005, 2006 & 2007 Multiple class in group winner. Now 5 years old Diva is retired from showing and living in a pet home getting all the attention as an only dog

Diesel started his show career with "Baby Puppy in Show" at Murry Valley KC championship show, then followed with "Baby puppy in show" at the Working dog club of Vic championship show, "Baby puppy in group at Victorian Womens KC and Sunbury KC championship shows, these last three shows being 3 of the biggest shows in Victoria.
He has also been awarded "Runner up in Show" at The Australian Cattle Dog Club of Victoria championship show 2004 and Open show 2005. Diesel gave us a great thrill winning "Runner up Best In Show" at the Working Dog Club of Victoria championship show in 2005. He has since added another great win to the list with "BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW" at The Australian Cattle Dog club of Victoria Inc championship show on 15th October 2006. Diesel is a tall, strong, muscular dog with a great topline and hindquarters, he has full dentition and is a proven sire. PRA tested "C" and is 20" high.
